MKS YACHT DESIGN was formed in 2015 and is a Naval Architecture Studio specialising in broad spectrum of sail & motor yacht design. Our design office is currently located in Arnavutköy / Istanbul and Boat yard facility in İçmeler / Bodrum. We provide engineering, exterior- interior design, construction, surveying, refit, boat care, yacht brokerage & charter service upon your special requests.

The projects usually begin with exterior styling which is the most exciting stage for both clients and us.However, developing the exterior ‘styling’ of a yacht is a complicated and fluid process, requiring the integration of all technical and regulatory requirements, as well as meeting the client’s demanding interior space needs. All these are fighting for priority in a finite amount of space. The exterior styling has to develop alongside the general arrangement. Because of this customisation process, every yacht should be slightly different to the last.

Lloyds SSC software and Wolfson Unit HullScant software packages oftenly used in order to check complience of ISO Recreational Craft Directive and MCA regulations.In special cases we build scaled models of projects to drop it on water and tank test.Furthermore, thanks to our highly experienced team mates we can also  do computational fluid dynamics studies via ANSYS simulation depending on requirements.
